A MeetUp to learn more about Youth Ambassadors and what activities are ahead for the summer.

FILM PROJECT - Guadalupe Street

 Guadalupe Street Film Project Meeting and Media Walk - Explore Creative Photography, Video, and use of Creative APPS with College Mentors from Fordham University in New York.  If you have one, bring a Smart Phone or Tablet that you can use to take picture or record.

SERVICE LEARNING - Building Project

Habitat for Humanity Building project - Learn about sustainable design and building while volunteering on a home building project for a local family in need.  (must be 17 or older and have parents permission)

SERVICE LEARNING - Mural Painting

We will be gathering with neighbors and students to restore the murals in the pocket Park on Alto Street across from the Boys and Girls Club in the historic Guadalupe Neighborhood District north of the Railyard. All ages and families welcome.

DIALOGUE - Affordable Housing Dialogue

Attend local Affordable Housing Dialogue and film interviews.

DIALOGUE - Interfaith Dialogue

Participate in annual Interfaith Dialogue between July 13 through 17 and meet with visiting students from San Jose Teen Interfaith Council including students visiting from the Shinyuen Buddhist Association, the Archdiocese of San Jose, and the Jewish Federation of San Jose. 

COMMUNITY EVENT - Pancakes on the Plaza

A super-fun morning facilitating an art activity for community members of all ages at the annual Pancakes on the Plaza event. Youth Ambassadors will greet the public, assist with the RadHatter Art Activity helping everyone decorate hats out of paper bags, and film interviews, too!

DIALOGUE - Nuclear Weapons Dialogue

Youth Ambassadors will attend Nuclear Weapons Dialogue and film interviews, as well.

Participate in Local News Dialogue and Film interviews, as well.
